Joint Prayers
To seek the blessings of the deities for the quick recovery of patients at the emergency wards of the Government hospital joint prayers are conducted at 5.30 p.m. on every Thursdays. These unique prayers were inaugurated on 8.11.2019 under the Akhand Hindu Rashtra abbot Karunanidhi Swamigal and hindu devotees.
On every Thursday morning, representatives from the temple would proceed to the government hospital and get a list of patients under emergency care, their names, lagan, star and in the evenings in the presence of City's dignitaries and doctors from the hospital, names of the patients would be read and joint prayers conducted. After that Archana's would be performed in the name of patients in the sanctums of Shiva Temple. The following morning, Shiva devotees would proceed to the hospital and hand over the 'Vibhuti individually to the patients and they are consoled.
Moreover, patients at other hospitals and homes, who send their names, stars, lagan and addresses are dispatched ''Vibhuti' by post after Archana's in their names. This joint prayers system has won the appreciation of people from all over India which is reflected in the numerous Emails and letters that the Akhand Hindu Rashtra Hope Centre receive daily. Those patients who wish to seek cure through these joint prayers could send their names and other details to the Akhand Hindu Rashtra Hope Centre, their names will be included in the joint prayers and Archana's and the 'Vibhuti' would be set to them.
